Operating principles

The electromagnetic overband magnet operates using an electromagnet powered by electricity, which generates a magnetic field:

  • The overband magnet is installed above a conveyor or at the end of a conveyor belt.
  • Ferrous metal particles are attracted by the field and removed from the material stream.
  • An integrated conveyor belt automatically transports the metal contaminants to a collection area.
  • The system operates continuously, ensuring automatic separation and uninterrupted operation.

Available in cross-belt or end-of-line configurations, the overband adapts to all setups.
