Operating principles

How the magnetic pulley works:

Fitted with high-performance 360° neodymium magnets, it generates a powerful magnetic field passing through the conveyor belt.

Automatic process :

  • Capture of ferromagnetic particles held against the belt
  • Routing under the pulley outside the main unloading area
  • Automatic fall into the recovery chute

This magnetic conveyor separation guarantees continuous protection of your industrial equipment without human intervention.

Directions for use

Advice from our Lenoir-Mec experts:

  • Optimum positioning: Install the magnetic pulley in the return position with a minimum drop height of 300mm to ensure effective separation of ferrous contaminants from the main flow.
  • Belt speed: Maintain a conveying speed between 1 and 3 m/s. Excessive speed can reduce the capture efficiency of the finest ferromagnetic particles.
  • Preventive maintenance: Regularly inspect the magnetic bars and cleaning mechanism for signs of saturation or wear.
  • Technical installation: Provide a collection system (chute, bin) under the magnetic unloading area.
